Private Puppy Training in Metro Atlanta

  • Crate training

The Power of Play-Based Training

Training should be productive, but it should also build

engagement and fulfillment. Structured play is one of the most effective ways to develop focus, motivation, and communication, especially in working breeds.

We incorporate tug work, recall games, engagement exercises, possession games, and reward-based interaction to make obedience meaningful to the dog.

  • When should puppy training start?

Puppies can start training after their core vaccines have been boosted, around 10 weeks of age.

  • What breeds do you train?

We train all breeds, ages, and temperaments, from household companions and young puppies to high-drive working breeds and more complex behavior cases. Full Contact K9 works extensively with German Shepherds and other working breeds requiring

  • Do you offer German Shepherd puppy training?

Yes. Full Contact K9 provides breed-specific German Shepherd puppy training focused on confidence, purposeful play, public exposure, obedience foundations, and healthier long-term habits. In-Home Dog Behavior Consultation in Atlanta

Initial Comprehensive Evaluation | $515

In-home behavior consultations are a separate diagnostic service designed for owners needing a comprehensive professional evaluation within the household environment where the behavior is actually occurring.

These consultations are particularly valuable when behavior is influenced by family dynamics, household routines, visitors, environmental pressure, management structure, or patterns that are difficult to accurately evaluate outside the home.

The goal is not superficial observation, but a detailed assessment of the dog, the environment, the how you respond to the dog contributing to the behavior, and the level of structure and follow-through required to create meaningful improvement.

Schedule a complimentary introductory call →

  • Are in-home behavior consultations part of the Essential Obedience Training Program?

No, it is a completely separate diagmostic service.  They are desiged to create a clear roadmap and next steps.

  • What happens during a behavior consultation?

Behavior consultations are designed to identify the underlying factors driving the dog’s behavior, not simply observe surface-level

symptoms. We evaluate the dog’s responses, environmental stability, how you interact with the dog, household dynamics,

thresholds, stressors, and overall lifestyle demands to better understand why the behavior exists and what is required to improve it.

Clients receive realistic expectations, professional direction, and a customized path forward tailored to the individual dog, the household environment, and the level of follow-through necessary to create meaningful change.

Evaluation Includes:

  • Household dynamics and daily routines
  • Behavioral triggers and escalation patterns
  • Existing handling and communication patterns
  • Environmental stressors and management issues
  • Behavior history and lifestyle factors
  • Professional recommendations and training direction

This is a professional behavioral assessment designed to identify the underlying factors contributing to the behavior, establish realistic expectations, and provide clear direction regarding the most appropriate path forward.

In-home behavior consultations are billed separately and are not merged with the Essential Obedience Training Program. Service area is generally within 15 miles of the Atlanta perimeter.

*Additional fees may apply depending on distance.

If additional services are recommended, they are offered selectively on a bespoke basis depending on the dog, household dynamics, client goals, and complexity of the case. These specialty services differ substantially from standard obedience programs and are structured accordingly.

  • Are consultations free?

We offer complimentary introductory phone calls. Prior to enrollment in any training program, a paid consultation is required.

Consultation fees for basic obedience are credited toward the Essential Obedience Training Program.
